Where we started
Built for the last mile, not around it
Buni.ai was born out of a stark technical reality: traditional software development moves too slowly for the urgent, changing demands of last-mile operations across Africa.
As software engineers building digital products for underserved communities, we experienced the breaking point firsthand. Country program requirements shift rapidly, donor timelines are unforgiving, and offline populations are consistently left behind because traditional engineering lifecycles simply cannot keep up. Every month spent writing custom backend code or wrestling with fragile telecom integrations is time stolen from clinics, smallholder farmers, and families waiting for critical support.
We built Buni.ai to cut through that complexity.
Buni.ai is the real-time operational infrastructure that bridges the gap between high-level program intent and last-mile execution.
