NGOs and programmes
Programme services that reach the last mile.
Referrals, enrolment, reminders and field reporting on WhatsApp, USSD and voice — with SMS for confirmations — for the people your programme serves and the staff who serve them.

The problem
The people you serve are rarely the ones with data.
Community health workers, farmers and families at the end of a programme’s reach often carry basic phones. A service built for smartphones leaves them out, and a separate USSD project doubles the work.
Buni.ai puts USSD menus and voice lines on the same canvas as WhatsApp and web chat. One service reaches every participant, one team runs it, and every change is versioned, checked before it goes live, and recorded.
What programmes build
Services that work from any phone.
Referrals
Screen on a phone, refer to a facility, and let the facility know by SMS, on USSD or WhatsApp.
Enrolment
Collect structured details with validation, and check them against your own systems mid-conversation.
Reminders
SMS and WhatsApp messages sent on a schedule or when a record changes.
Field reporting
Front-line staff report by USSD or WhatsApp; each record lands in a data store you can export.
Information and helplines
Answers drawn from the documents you publish, with a person one step away when a question needs one.
Feedback and cases
Capture, route and resolve cases, and ask for a satisfaction rating when a chat is resolved.
How a deployment works
From scope to a service your team runs.
- STEP 01
Scope
We agree the service, channels, languages and the systems it must connect to.
- STEP 02
Build and localise
We build the flows, connect your systems and deliver them in your languages.
- STEP 03
Test and train
Your staff test every path in the simulators and learn to change flows themselves.
- STEP 04
Launch and run
We go live through your aggregator or carrier and support the service for an agreed period.
- Who can change the service?
- Organisation, project and data-store roles. Only owners and admins publish.
- Is every change recorded?
- Publishes, access and role changes, API tokens and AI changes go to an append-only audit log, as does every time our staff access your data.
- Can a bad change be undone?
- Yes. Draft and live versions are separate, every publish is validated, and you can roll back from version history.
- Where is data processed?
- On AWS in the United States (us-east-1). In-country hosting is not offered as standard — tell us early if your mandate requires it.
Tell us about the people your programme needs to reach.
We’ll reply with how Buni.ai would deliver it and what it would take.
